Our Story, Our Promise
We've put together some information and video links to help make sure your trade show install is as simple as possible.
Install Questions
-
Your backdrops have likely been rolled in their tube for a least a few days now which will result in some creases BUT DON'T WORRY! These roll marks drop out over a few hours, we always recommend hanging your backdrops the day before the event to allow time for them to drop.
Vinyl is effected by heat, the warmer the weather the quicker they will drop.
-
We sell removable velcro strips that are designed to hold the weight of your backdrops and also not damage them when removing.
If you don't have a wall to adhere to in your booth, we also sell Tbars that you can velcro or clip the backdrops to. You can find these here
-
The best way to use your velcro strips is to stick the two velcro sides together and remove only 1 side of the sticky protector. Add one to each corner and one in the centre and press hard to ensure they are stuck down.
Then, remove the second sticky protection paper and attach to the wall.
Another install tip with the velcro, if you have already attached the velcro strips to the wall and need to move your backdrop slightly, keep the wall velcro strip stuck down and only remove the backdrop and its strip, move your backdrop to the correct spot and reattach. The velcro strips are strong enough that they don't have to line up perfectly to work and then you aren't removing any stickiness by resticking your velcro twice!
-
Make sure you have enough strips to attach each corner of your backdrop.
We recommend velcroing the top of your backdrop down in each corner and center, then once the ripples have dropped from the backdrop, then velcro down the bottom corners and sides if need be.
TIP: Because the bottom is just securing in place and not actually holding weight, you can cut up a strip rather than using 3 full ones.
-
after the event, remove all the tape and Velcro strips and stacks max of 5 backdrops (print facing in) on top of each other and tightly roll them up.
if they aren’t aligned, stand the stack on its end and tap the top so they shuffle down and sit flush against each other ready to go back in the tube!
having the prints facing in stops it from being damaged by the tube, if possible rewrap the backdrops prior to going back in the tube
