How to apply Kiss Cut Decals with transfer tape

If your decal has been sitting for a long time without being applied or if the weather is cold, or if your decal includes really small details like little writing, the vinyl can become a bit stiff.

Like in the video above, add pressure to make sure the two materials are stuck together. Peel the white paper backing away from the transfer tape slowly and on a sharp angle, if needed lightly push the letters on to the transfer tape as you go to make sure they are attached.

The decal does not need to be really stuck down to the transfer tape, just enough for you to lift it and apply to your wall/window. The decals are designed to be sticker than the tape, so the tape removes and the decal doesn't.

The decals are designed to be sticker than the tape, so the tape removes and the decal doesn't. This is why it can sometimes take some patience to make sure the decal sticks to the tape, not the paper backing.

Yes! Our decals come with transfer tape to make positioning easy. Simply peel the backing, apply the decal to your chosen surface, smooth it down firmly, then carefully peel away the transfer tape. We provide a step-by-step guide with every order.

Our decals are designed for smooth, clean surfaces such as glass, mirrors, car windows, shopfront windows, walls, plinths, floors, laptops, and drink bottles. They are not recommended for painted car panels or textured surfaces.

Our vinyl decals are designed to be removable without leaving sticky residue or damaging smooth surfaces. Just take your time peeling them off gently from one corner.

Please keep in mind, the longer the decal is applied the harder it will be to remove.
